My name is Kloé and to answer some of your questions, I am living in the states. I spent most of my life on a mini farm in a 400 people town. You know, the kind that everybody knows everyone’s business… And the two main (only) attractions of the town are 1) a bar named “HOTEL” and 2) a restaurant named “RESTAURANT”. Oh we used to have a grocery store, but it closed a little while ago because of the fierce competition of the neighboring town’s bigger and better grocery store… you get the picture.
Anyways at 16 I left the home and moved to the USA to attend college. Not that we don’t have Universities in Québec, but I wanted to discover different places, and the United-states just happened to have great music schools. That’s right, I study music: cello as a matter of fact. so moved here, didn’t speak english but finally picked it up…
So what is this blog going to be about? well nothing in particular (that’s right, Go off on a Tangent) but there will most likely be some seriously reoccurring themes, like my cats for example.. just kidding (kind of…)
Welcome to The Running Kro,
– Kloé
My home town (and present town) is slightly larger than 400. Bienvenue a tangents! Je parle un peu de francais. Enough to get my by 3 years of French in school, anyway 😉
Welcome to Tangents, Kloe! I’ve enjoyed reading your blogs, already! When I have internet access, I tend to blog about a lot of really non important things, but I guess that’s what these things are for, eh?
All I have to say about French is that I flunked French my freshman year in High School. However, my instructor felt sorry for me because I really did study and I tried VERY hard to get a passing grade, so she let me have the credit and I was out of there with a D…..minus!!!!
Again, welcome, and I look forward to reading your blogs!
Mare
haha well merci beaucoup, and mary911, I just might have to start a “french word of the day” thing 😉
I once learned the Girl Scout promise in French…
